Hi guys!
I really like to tie with all feathers of the Golden Pheasant, except the nice small green-blueish-metallic one - I have no clue what to tie with them and what their name is. Can somebody here help me?
Thanks in advance!

The Global FlyFisher forum has existed for almost as long as the site, and the oldest posts are more than 20 years old. Forums aren't what they used to be. Social media has taken over a lot of their roles, and the GFF form is very quiet ... to put it mildly.
We keep everything online for the sake of history, and preserve the posts for as long as possible, but as you will see, quite a few of them aren't in a good shape, but rely on old images hosted elsewhere, which are no longer available, odd codes from old systems and much more, which can't be shown in a decent way.
But the posts are here, and you can - if you insist - start new threads. But don't stay awake waiting for replies, because they are unfortunately few and far apart.

… I have a small favor to ask.
Support the Global FlyFisher through several different channels, including PayPal.
The Global FlyFisher has been online since the mid-90's and has been free to access for everybody since day one – and will stay free for as long as I run it.
But that doesn't mean that it's free to run.
It costs money to drive a large site like this.
See more details about what you can do to help in this blog post.
Jan,
Jan,
I asked myself that - 11 years ago:

Martin,
Martin,
thanks for your answer, I hoped you know at least a dozen of flies I don't know. But your fly is a good start for me! I tried something in the tail of "my" Golden pheasant shrimp but it didn't work well......but I'll try further on.

You can change the blue
You can change the blue Pukeko feather on the top of a Craigs Nighttime fly with those feathers! This makes a fantastic fly for after dark.
Here is a link to a guides page that has a pic of a craigs night time on it.

All the best.

Hi Mike,
Hi Mike,
thanks for your answer. I asked Davie McPhail about these feathers and he replied, niceley (as ever), that the only fly he ties with this stuff is an Scotish wet fly: the 'Morton and Gold' (or silver).
