A team of four anglers go to remote places to fish. They endure all kinds of hardship, and it does become slightly tiring how the drama has to be pumped up and all situation are amplified to life threatening crises. The pattern is much the same in most episodes: hard traveling, gear missing, find the spot, nice locals, do some fishing, dramatic weather/conditions/breakdown, finally catching the big one.
